Stefanie Mach


born 1978, Stefanie Mach began work in a nationwide law firm during her legal studies at the Free University in Berlin (1998-2003) and continued thereafter. The focus of her work there was civil law and the law of civil procedure. She utilised her studies to specialise in the field of intellectual property law.

After finishing her studies, Stefanie Mach lived in New York for several months, working for a law firm with international clients.

During her mandatory two-year legal training period, she completed internships in a law firm specialised in commercial and IP law as well as a boutique law firm in London dealing with conflict of laws. In the scope of this internship, she passed the "Toles Exam" for legal English. Stefanie Mach joined Herbst | Bröcker directly after her admission to practice law in 2007. The focus of her work is trademark and copyright law. She has been a member of the German-British Lawyers Association since 2005. She has also been in the German national lacrosse squad since November 2007.
