Hans Ulrich Sendler


born 1965, married, four children. Studied law in Göttingen, Freiburg, Grenoble (France) and Münster following his military service. During his studies he developed a particular interest for conflict of laws, comparative law and company law. After the first state exam, Hans Ulrich Sendler worked as a research assistant in Trier, transferring to the Humboldt University in Berlin a short while later, with Prof. Dr. Michael Kloepfer. In this function, he investigated foreign and international issues concerning environmental and constitutional law.

He completed his compulsory two year practical legal training in Berlin and France from 1996 to 1997 with a focus on commercial tenancy law and foreign law of associations.

Hans Ulrich Sendler began working at the law firm in 1997. Between 1999 and 2002 he had a particular focus on the law of the new German Länder and was based in Magdeburg. In addition to his role as attorney, he is a member of controlling bodies within a number of industrial companies.
